TERM LIMITS

Americans want term limits.
CONGRESS WON'T DO IT

It is up to an Article V Convention of States to propose an amendment to limit Congressional terms.
We suggest a twelve-year limit for members of the House and Senate. Let them divide those twelve years any way they choose: six two-year terms as members of the House of Representatives, or two six-year terms as a Senator, or a mix. Twelve years is not only enough time to get something done in Congress, but it also provides the urgency and incentive to get things done.
